Capo Welding recently completed a structural project for Lightner Museum. One of the meeting rooms overlooking the old swiming pool was in need of steel beams and post to support the floor above. Capo Welding stepped in with the help of Elaine Darnold Construction to provide the materials, welding and installation.
Capo Welding now offers Atlantis Rails "Rail-Easy" stainless steel cable railing. This professional cable railing system has already been used on several houses within the St. Johns County area. Combined with either stainless or aluminum framework the railing offers the best views from a sitting position. "This system is awesome! Near maintenance free and easily installed" says Byron Capo.
Recently the Nina and Pinta, replicas of Columbus's ships, docked in St. Augustine for guided tours. Capo Welding was called upon to upgrade the foremast hardware for rough sea conditions. "It was really cool to work on a ship that embraces our country's history. I was glad to be a part of this unique project", says Chris Glochau, welder.
Capo Welding has been located in downtown St. Augustine for many years. "We have been on the map, on the charts and now the web," said owner Byron Capo. The new website will feature photos of some of our current and past projects, as well as, provide useful information for our clients and potential customers.
